Entry Program for Older Adult Immigrants
Do you know an immigrant who is 55 plus and would like to:
* Learn about settlement topics for newcomers?
* Meet other older adults from Canada, their own or other countries?
* Become more aware of activities in their own community and about healthy aging in Manitoba / Canada?
WHO ARE WE?
Age & Opportunity Inc. - Entry program is a program that provides settlement and orientation sessions on topics of Healthy Living, Law and getting around places in the community.
This is a 10-week program, held twice a week. The sessions take place at different schedules and various locations throughout the city.
All 55 plus new immigrants and Canadian Citizens who have not previously attended this Entry Program are welcome to attend.
English Conversation Circles - covering topics of importance to older adults. Learners can get together to practice their English communication skills through peer interactions. All 55 plus older adults are welcome to join in these activities.
HOW TO REGISTER:
All Entry sessions and Conversation circles are no cost (FREE OF CHARGE) for landed immigrants and Canadian citizens.
